The collection from Bungalow 5 features rounded drawer fronts covered in pattern eggshell, and large brushed brass handles seem to hover above the angular lines of the side table’s body. The eggshell finish on the drawers is created by an artisan using an old-world technique in which he lays, by hand, tiny pieces of eggshell into a unique pattern over a linen foundation. Each piece of the eggshell is meticulously adhered, fitting in like a puzzle piece. The artisan then covers the design with myriad layers of hand-painted lacquer to achieve a smooth finish.
